When it comes to anniversaries, creatives often tend to take a look back and make a retrospective of past designs… Not at Shakkei!
Head designer Gabriel Baradee doesn’t just want to reminisce, he also wants to give an optimistic preview of the new season. With rich colors and lots of new pieces Shakkei’s spring/summer collection is the opposite of a retrospective. The “Travel Diary” collection proves that the Shakkei label has maintained its identity over the past 15 years, but is unafraid of trying new things.
High-quality, sustainable materials are a staple at Shakkei. Linen, cotton, silk and cupro invite you to touch them in this collection. Rich yellow and red tones are complemented by lime green, baby blue and teal and rounded off by white, gray, beige and black.
The end of the journey is not always the destination, but also the way there.
